For this project we were referred from one of our other customers who we also replaced their bay window flat roof. This property was in the Golden Triangle area of Norwich and these types of bay windows are prone to deterioration and cause leaks.
Our team fully striped the old bay window flat roof and installed new timbers and OSB boards to give it a new solid base. Once complete our roofers installed EPDM which is a perfect solution for smaller flat roofs such as bay windows. The edgings and flashing was finished off with plastic trims and mini uPVC black guttering for proper drainage.

Assessment
Firstly one of the team will visit to inspect the roof and provide a free quote for the required works.
Removal
All of the old roof such as top coating and timber will be stripped safely ensuring there is now damage to the brickwork.
Structural Support
New timbers will be installed to ensure the new roof has a solid base with the correct pitch for correct water drainage.
Boarding
18mm OSB (Oriented Strand Board) are fitted over the new structure to give a flat surface and fit the EPDM.
Waterproofing
High quality EPDM (Ethyene Propylene Diene Monomer) was fitted as a one piece waterproof top coating.
Finishing Touches
Black uPVC trims and flashing were fitted to seal the edges. Also mini uPVC black mini guttering to drain the water away.
The completed works resulted in a durable and long lasting bay window flat roof with the correct drainage. Not only will it prevent future roof leaks but it always looks great and improves the appearance of the property.
