Our team have just completed a new roof installation job in Great Yarmouth with the highest roofing standards as always. The original roof had asbestos sheets that needed to be removed. We have a local company we use for asbestos removal who are very good and removed all the asbestos for us in 1 day.
We had to do timber work to accommodate the new tiles, 2 Velux roof skylights and solar panels that were installed after we finished the roof. The team worked very hard and get all roofing works completed in 7-10 days.
We did everything from stripping and timber work to new skylights, felt, batten and tile installation. The verges were cemented to finish and lead added for flashing. We used dry ridge system for better ventilation. Celotex insulation was also used inside the roof to make the rooms better in summer and winter and for better energy rating.
