We were very happy with the service we received from Point Roofing. We had a damp patch on the celing of one of our bedrooms, but we weren't sure what was causing it. Of all of the people we called to have a look, the guys from Point were the only ones that actually when up there to have a look. While all of the other companies we contacted didn't do any kind of inspection then sent us quotes for thousands of pounds. The guys from Point pointed out there was a damaged tile that was letting in a lot rain water and that is may be the cause of the issue. They said that it would be best to fix this before doing any further, more costly work. They then promtly returned to fix the tile and also checked the roof for any other issues. Hopefully this has fixed the problem but if it remains we will not hesitate to get back in touch with Point to investigate the issue further. They were really quick, efficient and friendly, and I would certainly recomend them to anyone.

A fast response to the initial enquiry. They came to see the job in person, not just requesting photos. We were given options for resolving the problem with potential costing comparaisons. Communication was fast and easy. The work was carried soon after accepting the quote, was fast, efficient and to the highest standard. The site was left impeccably clean and tidy. Josh and the team did a fantastic job removing an old chimney stack that desperately needed to come down due to complications with the old brickwork. Very impressed with these guys. They were very responsive to my initial enquiry, and actually turned up when they said they would - something of a rarity amongst roofers (and tradesmen in general, unfortunately). In fact, communication was very good throughout the process.They turned out to survey what needed doing within a few days, and came back to do the actual work the following week, despite it not being an emergency. That's impressive.They did some repair work on my roof (replacing bargeboards, releading a valley, mending a gutter, and repairing and repointing a chimney stack), and on my mother-in-law's roof (making good some duff workmanship from a couple of years back by another roofer).I am no roofing expert, but the work they have done looks good, and the explanation about what they were going to do was very open and inspired confidence.They and their contractors (eg scaffolders) were courteous and thorough, leaving the place clean and tidy.The whole process was stress-free, and it looks like the workmanship is pretty top-notch. They are certainly not the cheapest - but I guess you get what you pay for.

Pitched and flat roof installation and repair
Point Roofing & Guttering Norwich’s comprehensive roofing service covers installing and repairing a wide range of roof types, including tile, slate, EPDM, and GRP flat roofs. We have worked with all types of roofs so our team has the experience to assess the issue correctly and recommend the best solution to suit. We always try to keep the costs down and will only recommend what we feel is the best action to implement. In certain situations a GRP flat roof may be better to install than a EPDM. We may also recommend a different tile type that is better suit to your roof pitch.
A replacement roof is not always essential and if our team are able to perform a high standard repair that will provide longevity we will always recommend this option first. Repairs can sometimes only last for a short period of time so our roofers will not carry out a repair if we feel that it is something that will need doing again in the near future.

We mainly undertake roofing and guttering services across Norwich and Norfolk. Occasionally we do carry out jobs across the UK but we would need to assess the job before committing.
The cost of our roofing services depends on various factors, such as the roof size, the type of work required (re-roofing or repairs), and the materials used. To provide an accurate estimate, our professional roofers will visit your property at a time that suits you for a free quote.
No, if you have an issue we will arrange with you a suitable time to come and visit your property to inspect your issue at no cost. We then will provide you with a free no obligation quote for the required works.
It all depends on the size of the job and the roof. We typically get a re-roof completed inside a week for a 2-3 bedroom property. Anything larger would take slightly longer. A new garage flat roof installation can take around 3 days.
We don’t charge to come and inspect your roof or gutter issue and for small repairs we only send an invoice for the full amount once the job is complete. For larger jobs such as re-roofs we require a 25% payment upfront to help contribute towards the initial outlay of materials, scaffolding, skip etc.
For all new roofing works and fascia, soffit and guttering we provide a 10 year workmanship guarantee. This covers you for up to 10 years if there is a fault due to poor workmanship, in the event of this we would come out and fix free of charge. For small repairs we cannot provide a guarantee as it is just a repair and is only temporary.
Our team prides itself on providing a high quality roofing service. We do not carry out any cheap repairs and only provide what we recommend needs doing after inspection. We don’t want to tarnish our name with bad work and cheap repairs more often than not lead to worse problems down the line.
